Repeat prescriptions will be issued at the doctor's discretion and are normally for patients on long-term treatment. Request prescriptions can be made in writing enclosing a stamped addressed envelope or by calling at the surgery. If the doctor decides to put you on the repeat prescribing system you will be issued with a computer slip giving details of your drugs. If you are unable to hand in or post your slip, you can telephone the surgery on 812000 after 2.00pm and give the details to a receptionist. Please allow 48 hours (two working days) before collecting your prescription.
We are unable to take orders or issue prescriptions at weekends, public holidays or out of normal surgery hours. Please allow two working days before collection and make allowances for weekends and public holidays. Where possible give exact drug names when ordering. Two months' supply is the usual amount prescribed and the doctor will wish to see you periodically to monitor your treatment. Patients should expect to see the doctor personally at least once every six months. If you are unable to collect your prescription your chemist may be prepared to deliver it to you. Please note prescriptions can only be collected by someone over 16.
We offer patients the option to order repeat medication. Please contact the surgery for registration form.
